How cool would THAT be?

I

They've gotten really close to look at me, but I'd love to feed them

out of my hand, they are so bold.

I have a friend who does it sometimes when they are waiting for

him to hurry up with the feeder!!

They are really good pictures.

Just one question, who enforces the hummingbird no-fly-zone?

That's cool

I was on a golf course, this tree had a nest & several humming birds - I stood real still and they would come right up to me - they loved my hair spray...

It was so funny. I love those birds - they're so cool to watch, I have several in my yard (Buzz Bombers)..

One day at the zoo, a patron brought a hummingbird to us. It had flown into a spider web and wasn't able to fly. We patiently picked off the webbing, holding that tiny spark of life still as we cleaned its little feet and wings. It didn't struggle.

It was able to fly away!

(I STILL get all teary-eyed, remembering!)

Hi, I am Abigail Alfano, the lady in the hummingbird photos. My husband, Sam Alfano was the photographer that morning. I'm so happy that so many people are enjoying these photos. This was quite an experience, and not nearly as hard as most people think. It took several days and alot of patience, but it was well worth it. I never dreamed these photos would "take off" like they have. Please visit my personal website for the full story.

Also, you may sign my guest book there if you like. I will try to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks, Abigail Alfano

It's a good idea to use "hummingbird nectar" rather than just sugar/water, and

change the nectar before it starts to ferment.
