Is anyone watching this? It's so well-written! I'm taping it as I watch....which is the equivalent of shooting it into a vein!

Me too.

I usually like 'a little demented' in a T.V. show

but I haven't decided if I'll watch the rest 'On Demand'

DG, I've been watching "on demand," through my drugged delirium--but I spotted the "real" killer the first time he said casually, "Oh, you have a brother?"

BRILLIANT WRITING! BRILLIANT ACTING! I can hardly wait for Emmy nominations.

wow! That doctor is CREEPY! DO you think when he says they might share a cold one he is talking about Dex's sister?

And that poor old woman! I was like, "Dexter! Wait, listen to this lady! Go back!!!" And then that ass doctor butchered her! Think he'll prop her up for Dexter to see in Miami? That would sure give him away though!

Whew! What a show!

We think the same, DG---"a cold one?"

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!

What's interesting to me is that, if he's "like" Dexter, he does a good job of appearing "normal," and I wonder if HE had to study "normalcy" the way Dexter does?

He wants very much to "out" himself, I think. If he's not going to harm the sister, it must be incredibly tempting for him to think about joining Dex in a partnership!

So many questions--how'd he know about Dexter to begin with? And how'd he know about the biological father?

Brilliantly creative!

I have another question. Dont you think he might be a little mad at Dex and want to get back at him for not killing the security guard that he left for him? I dont see a partnership because he is killing innocent people and I think Dexter is bothered by that. It seems like he is starting to "feel" things gradually. Dexter I mean. As each episode unfolds. I wonder if he will torture Rita's boyfriend. Im so glad she slugged him in the head with that bat. Do you think she went to Dexter's?

You're probably not old enough to remember those guys...they were used by "Baby Doc" Duvalier, who was a vicious dictator in charge for awhile. Since a lot of Haitians wound up in Florida...they'd be known there.

My opinion is that Dexter & the doctor have a mutual admiration society (although Dex doesn't know who he is just yet.) They admire technique, bravery, etc. I wonder how much we'll learn about the doctor's childhood?

Remember in the last episode when it flashed a scene where Dexter was a toddler sitting in a pool of blood and covered in it? I want to know what that was about. He was like less than 2 years old! That was freeeeaaakkky!

Yes, weeder. I believe you can watch them on the PC. The website is www.sho.com/dexter

Lulu, it was epsiode 8 I believe. Not this past Sunday but the Sunday before. It was a quick flash and that's it.

Im staying tuned in, I love this show!

Also, about the Tonton Macoute. I remember when I was a freshman in high school, probably 1990-91, my Senior friend who had just graduated entered the Marines and they sent him to Haiti. Would the TM be active under Pap Doc at that time?

:lips: are sealed about the newest episode....BUT GET YOUR BUNS BACK IN HERE AS SOON AS YOU'VE SEEN IT SO WE CAN TALK! ;)

Wow! You were right! Good episode! The Dr is sloppy! He'll get caught soon! Dexter should be able to sense this guy is a little over fascinated with him! And I dont get the flashback.

Was his mother killed by his father? Who was the other guy?

What do you think 103 means? Deb's address?

Dunno--maybe they're taking a page from a "LOST" script! :wah: I said a HUGE "oh, NOOOOOO" when our friend was stabbed....glad he's going to be ok. At first, I thought this was to be a continuing series, but now, I don't see how they can follow this plot line...what do you think?

WHAT!?!?!? Its not?!?!?!?

Maybe they have a different plat for each 12 episode season. The doctor is going to get caught no doubt. Maybe the finale will be an intro into the next plot line. Oh please dont let it go away. Mike is HOOOOT and SEEEXXXY in this show!!!

Oh Lulu, remember when we were speculating that the TonTon Macoute might be a later theme? They mentioned it again in the last episode. Did you cathc that? They mentioned the Haitian that was shot to death and the replacement for La Guerta is Haitian and she was pi$$ed about that!

JUST MY THEORY AS A POSSIBILITY do you suppose the killer is somehow related to Dexter, or was related to one of the killers in the horrific murder of Dex's mother?

Ooooo. Good theory. e found out thats what 103 meant and it was a news article about his mother. And it seems like he is pissed at Dexter. Remember Dexter was hidden in the crate and his father made it look like Dexter dissappeared and he rasied him as his own. Remeber? He wiped out Dexter's existence. So maybe the Doctor has come to "finish the job" so to speak. It would make sense to me!!
