I thought nail gun too, Tombstone, but wasn't sure if it was acceptable because you also need a good compressor and hose. Three items. I'd probably want a coil nailer so I get more shots before I have to reload. Might want to make sure the compressor was on wheels in case you have to run. :wah:

Just thinking a cordless circular saw would be handy too. With guard removed or jammed up. Of course this means the beast must be closer to attack it but, with the right blade you might be able to saw its teeth off and trim its nails.

Ah! Snow.... that'll stop the wee beastie dead in its tracks. Alternatively, with a spade, you can bash it & bury it.
