i am voting red sea, it has lifeforms found nowhere else, and is spectacular. caribbean right now... vis not great due to winter conditions.

Well...you should of course consider the fact that the "Dead Sea" is called that for a reason - the extremely high salinity of the water prevents any form of aquatic flora or fauna from living there. Obviously, not your ideal sightseeing dive location. Not to mention that the increased density of the water makes for a very difficult swim, let alone a dive.

I have friends who have visited the Red Sea, and every one of them claims it is a beautiful place. I say go for it. One caveat, however: The currents of the sea can be very tricky; if you go diving, be sure to get the input of locals of where safe locations to dive are.
