Fall Snapshots

Post by Ocnbrz »

I decided to take a drive up into the Cascades yesterday to look for some fall color. Still early yet but here are a few to look at if you wish. :)

OC. Great pictures. You have some beautiful natural scenery there. Good ol' nature provides the best stuff.:-6

Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.

I've just opened these up. I love the one of the river, especially the angle you've taken it from showing all the large pebbles in the foreground. They show that this river must rise to be a raging torrent after rainfall, it must be an incredible sight to behold when that happens.

Rap, the water level can rise very fast during storms or during the spring runoff. They have the area posted to remind people that the conditions can change quickly! It is beautiful to behold when the water is "up" you can almost feel the rushing by as you stand on the banks. The water is also very cold. Not the kind of place you want to take a dip unless you want your bits to freeze! :wah:
