Greatest ........ of all time...

Spent last night watching greatest heavy metal songs of all time and greatest heavy metal bands of all time. They were pretty good shows. Actually helped keep me distracted since hubby was kicking my a@@ at canasta. Anyways it made wonder what everyone else's opinions on the questions below.

Hamster, Kiss did have big hair but I think Twisted Sister had them beat. I mean look at Snyder's hair. Crimping iron masterpiece.

Call me old-fashioned but I'm afraid the greatest guitarist of all time (***sigh, IMHO, of course***) was Hendrix. Even Clapton admitted he was astonished at the sound Jimi could achieve and his potential.

I guess the hair probably wouldn't win an award though.

1. My vote for the greatest guitarist is Charlie Christian. He was one of the pioneers of the electric guitar when it first was introduced in the 1930s and 40s. His guitar solos sound very much like the early rock and roll solos (such as the one in Rock Around the Clock), who were no doubt influenced by him. And to think he died in his early 20s.

2,3, and 4 I have no idea on.
