Kidnapped girl escapes captor..after 8 years!!

Just found this article. It is about a girl from Austria who was kidnapped in 1998, at the age of 10. She had been kept in a locked garage the entire time, and recently was able to escape. Click here to read the article.

A Big Thank You For Posting This Info - It Inspires Those Who Volunteer Their Time To Missing Persons Charities, To Continue Their Efforts Of Posting And Distributing Flyers, Even After Years Of No Sighting Reports, And It Gives Hope To Family Members Who Have A Missing Loved One Who Vanished Years Ago.

Apparently there was a twist to this story . The girl was able to run away at any point because he took her out daily , he also took her on holiday and now that her captor has died she is trying to claim his house...because its been her home for the last eight years ...its all very odd :-3

That is incredibly weird! :-3

She deserves some kind of restitution from him but I would not have thought she'd want his house, his money or any memory of him!

I would guess this would be classified as a case of "Stockholm syndrome" perhaps? :-2
