Obs --

When I make pizza or calzones

I but raw pizza dough in my supermarket

It works beautifully and costs about a buck :-6

Yes.

Use spelt flour, durum (or any strong white bread flour), and a bit o' rye,

maybe 3:2:1, and plenty of yeast, fresh if possible, "started" if dried. Knead

well, or use a breadmaking machine if you are lazy. Roll it fast and roughly

(you don't really want it in uniform thickness), put it on a baking sheet to

rise, load it up, and bake it hot. Do Not Put Any Pineapple On It.

"A veggie here" - are you vegetarian, or asking for a vegetable pizza?

You could use tomato, spinach, all sorts of purees (how do I get an accent

on my Es?), radish, many other roots, lots of things. You could even use eggs,

or cheese (although for people who are vegetarian simply on animal welfare

grounds, these things can't really be justified).

IMO the base counts for much, if not most, of a "good pizza". You can slap

almost anything on it, but it's all built on the base!

That was my intention... they didn't have it. I haven't been able to find it for a while!

I always just buy the dough in the tube (Pillsbury)... where did it go???
