**Official disclaimer** This post is NOT directed at anyone here in the garden.

What bugs me are folks who seem only to post to correct someone's grammer, spelling or to point out typos. I left a forum because of one person, who seemed to delight in picking apart everyone's posts...and correct them. That is all the guy did. He did not post anything else, it seemed.

Especially when it is obvious that English is not the person's first language!!

Pinky..sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do. That is why I purpously put the part that I was not directing it at anyone here. When I have seen it done here, it never seems spiteful, or mean. OK

I guess I was bugged as this person targeted MY posts quite often. With me it is usually typos, as I often will post the message without proofreading it. I usually try to catch any errors, but sometimes they slip through.

I dont mind typos or grammar BUT I have to say that run on sentences (with no punctuation or prepositions) are very hard to read and I start getting a little headache. HOWEVER, I would never say anything.

What about one long 500 word paragraph, with no breaks?

I have seen that, too. It is definatly hard on the eyes, especially if you look away for a second while reading.

Might as well confess that I am, on occasion, guilty of typing without my glasses. This results in all manner of strange typos! It is NOT my spelling, thankyouverymuch!

So the grammar/spelling trolls can go away from my bridge!
