About the pager...

An interesting thing about the pager here..I cannot recieve the pages here at work. My thing shows, right now, that I have recieved one, but the pager never shows. That has happened before.

So...if someone has just sent me a page, I am not ignoring you...I just can't get it! Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that I am on an EMAC here or what, but anyway...no pages from me here!

Ya know....about the pager....I still don't like how it's set up. You have to receive the page, close that window, then open up the Pager window where it shows the list of who is online, find that person, click on their name and send a new page. It would be SO much simpler if there was a reply button that came with the original page!! I find PM's more to my liking still.

Cher...thanks for the page...The thing is, I will get it when I get home! So, I guess I will announce that if you know I am at work, send a PM rather than a page

BR..I agree, it is a bit of a hassle!!
I will say, it's perfect for something that doesn't require a reply...like if you want to tell someone, "Go check out such-and-such thread or post" but otherwise, it's a pain in the butt!!
