There is a thread like this on another forum and you find some real gems. From the homepage look at the recent topics box and watch for funny combinations of thread titles finishing with a member's name

ie) Anything random goes...mongoose

To the English Football...Bryn Mawr (didn't know he was so oblong shaped)

We have better things to do, Pinky. I've erased my reply. It's one thing to have a go at people when they know you well enough to appreciate that you're taking the mickey / stirring. Quite another for a newbie to emit such offensive wind.

I don't think it's another thing at all. Is not the saying something like if you can't take it don't dish it out?

Minding that I haven't read the post, IMO newbies should be treated with more leniency not less.

I like to take people as I find them Koan. And always go out of my way to try and make any new posters welcome. I didn't actually have a problem with the post, as such. Gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was tongue in cheek. But taking that with the choice of name which I, in my innocence, initially missed. Huge Anus... okay.
