Moussaoui Gets Life for Role in Sept. 11

Post by minks »

This is just a clip off of YAHOO NEWS, my thoughts are, Does it really matter what he got? Does he care what he got? How on earth do you punish someone for a crime so darn huge?

Moussaoui Gets Life for Role in Sept. 11 By MICHAEL J. SNIFFEN, Associated Press Writer

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A federal jury rejected the death penalty for al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui on Wednesday and decided he must spend life in prison for his role in the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history.

After seven days of deliberation, the nine men and three women rebuffed the government's appeal for death for the only person charged in this country in the four suicide jetliner hijackings that killed nearly 3,000 people on Sept. 11, 2001.

Well that's just great. Instead of the bullet to the head that he deserves and is actually too good for him, we get to support, house, feed and clothe this piece of garbage for the rest of his life. Wonderful. Perfect. Our "judicial system" is such an utter joke. :-5

Bullet's trial was a farce. Can I get an AMEN?????

He was supposed to be a suicide bomber. He took the stand and begged for the death penalty. If he had been sentenced to death then he would become the matyr for his cause that he wanted to be. I say let him live his life in a cell and take whatever crap the general population has to dish out to him. I am sure life will not be pleasant.

Besides, a life sentence is cheaper to carry out then the death penalty.

But a bullet to the head would be SO much more satisfying, IMO. :sneaky:

I agree with Lilac. He wants to be a Martyr to his cause and if we killed him we would be playing into the hands of Al-Qaeda. They would rally their people behind his "murder" because they consider he has done nothing wrong! We have to show we're not sadistic scum like Al-Qaeda, yet I'm sure he'll suffer the wrath of every American prisoner and officer inside his jail. He'll be made to pay forevermore.

Ya think? It's too quick for scum like this!

A prison sentence means he'll suffer the very worst of prison attrocities, for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time!

And what use is he to Al- Qaeda now? Absolutely none at all!

We win both ways!

He won't rot. He will get treated with kid gloves. He lives as a shining example of the weakness of the infidels. He will write letters to inspire future terrorists. He is not a murderer, he is a war criminal. He should never have been tried in civilian court. I'd be happier to have made him a martyr. They have so many there they can't keep track of them all.

Now for satisfaction: root canals on all remaining teeth, then harvest his organs for the more deserving - all without any drugs.

Can't we use him for medical research?

I think the sentence was a good decision for two reasons:

1. He wanted death-then he would have been a matyr to his cause.

2. Deny him this-and throw him into prison for life, not isolated by himself, but with the general population. He won't last long.

This artist's rendering shows Zacarias Moussaoui celebrating as he is taken from the courtroom at U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Va., after the jury in the sentencing trial of the convicted al-Qaeda conspirator sentenced him to life in prison, Wednesday, May 3, 2006.

Then I guess deep down he was really a coward and didn't want to die a martyr. Oh well he's gonna be wishing he had gotten death, since he would of been isolated from the general prison. Now's he's a sitting duck. :D

I think the jury decided well.

A. He didnt kill anybody. And we dont give people death for crimes they didnt commit. (not on purpose anyway)

B. He is going to colorado's answer to the rock.

He has had his freedom to LIVE revoked, if not his freedom to breathe. Justice has been done.

The prison guards will have a heyday torturing this man!:wah: And for the rest of his natural life he will have to live in the anus of the great satan! I hope they put pork chops and bacon on his tray with every meal!

Today I am VERY proud to be american!
