They made a similar mistake in Germany with their unfortunate choice of logo for Ben & Jerry's

ROFLMAO!! I read the title of the thread and couldn't figure out why the Irish would be offended by an ice cream that honored a breed of dog! (Remember - when I hear black and tan - I think Rottweiler!)

Obviously all in the ear/eye of the beholder. I have to say I thought it was going to be about beer flavoured ice-cream and the objection was that they'd made it horrible!

I like Caramel Chew Chew best. Big arguments when we have it if anyone is accused of digging the bits out in advance.
