Whats your earliest memory ?
Mine is taking my clothes off 2 houses down in (Mazy's) driveway, then playing in a puddle. She walked me home and presented me to my parents. I couldnt have been more than 3 tops.

Blast From The Past
From an earlier thread:
Probably my earliest memory I was about 3 or 4 and I told my parents
I didn't want to die and they were all freaked out... have zero idea what
caused THAT!
And I remember daddy getting home from work, and me running to him
outside and him lifting me up and letting me search his shirt pockets for
candy or gum he kept there... at some point I remember not wanting his
arm to hike up my skirt 'cause then all the neighbors could see my ruffled
panties!!
I remember (again about age 4) when my baby sister was there and I told
Mom "I don't WANT that old baby take that old baby back to the hospital"
slight bit of jealousy perhaps?
I vividly remember when it first "clicked" with me and I KNEW what reading
was... I was 4 or so and sitting on the bedroom floor with my back
against my bed when I said out loud "Oh that's what that means"! and
I knew I had read words. My mom actually thought I could read even
earlier than that, because she read to me and I memorized what words
she said when she turned the page!!
A traumatic memory from age 4 (gee, I guess that was a really big year
for Val!
) was when I had my tonsils out. It hurt so much and mom
told me I broke my daddy's heart, asking him "For the MILLIONTH time
Daddy can I PLEASE have a drink of water" and he couldn't give me any.
Daddy who always gave me what I wanted! (all the ice cream you want
was sure a joke... it hurt going down, too!)

I remember when reading "clicked" too, Val. We all had to take turns reading to the teacher (Miss Woodling, she was so lovely) When it was my turn I was sad cos I knew I couldn't read the words in my book, but when I stood next to her and looked at them I suddenly found myself reading them out loud to her! Wow!
My 2 earliest memories are from when I was 2 years old.
My brainless mother gave me 2 empty glass milkbottles (1 in each hand) and told me to walk down the path and leave them for the milkman to collect. Of course I dropped them! And a huge piece of glass went into my arm. And I still have the scar! All I remember is the pain of them stitching up the wound as I was apparently too young to have an anaesthetic! Oh, and I wondered who it was doing all that screaming - I didn't realise it was me! Duh!
My other memory, also aged 2, was when I was a bridesmaid at my aunts wedding! I just remember the excitement of waiting for the car to come and collect us and the pure thrill of excitement when it finally arrived! Apparently I had a little posy of flowers to carry and as I walked up the aisle I dusted the floor with them, so that by the time we arrived at the altar they were all dusty and droopy! hehehe

Blast From The Past
When I was 20, I was involved in a motorcycle accident.
The ambulance attendents brought me to the hospital, I was hastily prepped for surgery, and wheeled into the operating room. When the anaesthetic hit my bloodstream, I began to violently shiver, and I felt a deep coldness, right down to the marrow.
The bone chilling cold and the smell of the operating room vividly rekindled my memory of my birth. Naturally, I lost consciousness shortly afterwards, but the memory was profound.

Blast From The Past
I remeber going with my papa to the feed store when I was 2 or 3. He would buy feed for his animals and I would play with all the chicks and baby ducks.
I also remeber one day my grandma telling me to pick out a chicken that she was making my favorite, chicken and dumplings. Well I pointed to the old rooster, cause I didn't like him. He always chased me around the yard. Well she grabbed the rooster and twisted his head off (gruesome I know) and then she accidently dropped the body and it came flopping at me. :-2

Yeah, actually I did.
I tripped over my brothers carrycot and bashed my head on a door hinge.
Personally, I expected more than 5.5 for a triple half pike and tuck with a difficulty factor of 4, but it was a harsh lesson learned at a tender age.

10.0 for effort my man !
We had bunkbeds and my brother found it amusing to yank my arm and pull me off the top giggling hysterically as I crashed to the floor. Im sure my style points would have been in the negative range.
