getting it!

Post by venus »

WE all seem to spend so much time worrying about getting older, wrinklier etc..

I think aging is showing the world you have been there, done that, and can offer advice on a thing or two.

If you take care of yourself and dont sit back waiting for the reaper than there is nothing stopping you living life to the fullest within your own limits..

My gran is over 70 and l have a hard time getting her on the phone she is so busy. She is on her own now and she refuses to sit and wait to die..

she has many clubs , associations etc that she is a member of, lots of friends and is very active..she is still doing all her own and others decorating for them..

That is how l want to be when lm older, not sitting back bemoaning my wrinkles and how lm not young anymore..

but enjoying life and accepting that we all get wrinklier..you just have to make the best of what you got..

But then again l will not go gracefully...uh huh not me!:p

So how about it guys...what do you love about you...and your prospective future
take a bite out of life it's there to be tasted!!

Oh gosh I love the fact that most days after a few stretches I can walk upright with minimal back pain.... argh ahahahahahaha

What do I like about my aging process besides sore knees and back.... I have very little gray hair ahahahahaha Still weigh what I weighed in my 20's. No major health problems beyond allergies. Ummmm My parents are still living hehehe

gosh I dunno, I am still active, love to hike and bike, have a great sex life, can wear low rise jeans and not look stupid ahahahaha And don't cover my wrinkles with make up hehehehe

I totally agree! :)

I think my sunny disposition will serve me well, even when I'm 103!:)

Yeah. ageing can be depressing if we let it be. Because i have a couple of degenerative health conditions, i find i don't look forward to old age, but neither do i sit and worry about it.

I have a friend in her 70's that is into breeding and showing dogs as i do, and she has upwards of 50 dogs still. I have 4 and find it difficult at times, so some people are sent to inspire us who need inspiring i'm sure....:-6 :-6

No time to get old, and if you get some wrinkles along the way, so be it.

The future is always there in front of us, waiting for us to grasp it.

That is why life is always so interesting.

Even with my RA, I'm not afraid of getting old. It beats the alternative. I figure any wrinkles or gray hairs, I have earned. I intend to age gracefully. My mother sits around, feeling sorry for herself. I will not do that. I will make fun and excitement instead of expecting others to entertain me. Hope that all makes sense.

As long as I am capable of operating my motorcycle, with Bullet riding next to me, I could care less about wrinkles, grey hair, or anything else that comes with aging. Live every day like it could be your last. Anything more is just a bonus.

Bullet's trial was a farce. Can I get an AMEN?????
