I sent this to my brother in law because I thought it was cute. I have no idea (or at least I didnt) what his politics are. His reply is below. Id like to know what you think of his reply...either way. For or against and then pass it along to him. My reaction was WOW ! This guy is wound up tight.

The previous teasing he is talking about was from the Superbowl, they live in Pitt., and even though I was rooting for them I was giving him the business. He and his wife were teasing back about my wife leaving me and his younger brother had the hots for her. Personal stuff and I didnt like it much. I never would have gotten personal on them. So anyway opinions please ?

Brian, you get upset when we tease you, yet send this type of liberal nonsense. What idiots!!! Then you wonder why Ã¢â‚¬Å“we canÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t just all get along?Ã¢â‚¬ ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s because that means Ã¢â‚¬Å“Do it my way! Or I wonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t play nice.Ã¢â‚¬ Typical liberal bullshit!!! Stupidity, and especially stuff like this, when weÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re at war, shows the intelligence and capability of these people. They should all move to some place theyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢d like better, like Cuba or China.

I thought in one of ValerieÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s messages to you she said we shouldn't send things like this to each other anymore as it only causes hard feelings.

So how do you want it? This type of thing really pisses me off. Liberals knowing how to tell other people how to live yet not doing it themselves.

Something of a gross over-reaction to a fairly standard joke.

As for "telling me how to live my life" and "do it my way or ..." he appears to be reading things that are NOT there.

I think that his biggest button is attached to the tip of your finger, sorta like the joke about the blonde that hurts wherever she touched herself. Likely, he would view a sentimental e-card from you as some kind of sarcastic joke.

In other words, you probably can do no right with him.

Hey Nomad - I agree with the thread title 100%. His personal jibes towards you are out of balance with your good humoured banter. Surely even GWB would see the funny side of this. I think you missed the joke he sent you back, Nomad. It's about Democracy. "Liberals knowing how to tell other people how to live yet not doing it themselves", in a year when Team Bush spreads "Democracy" at gunpoint abroad while dismantling it at home? I don't know much about American politics, come to think of it it I don't know much About British politics either but I know a joke when I see one and I'm inclined to agree with Bryn Mawr

Be it wrong or right I thought it was a funny joke, it brought a smile to my face
