I decided!

Now to my most important item of business... I decided on a birthday present for my mom! I'm going to make her a quilt with pictures on it... of us... of her as a child and of me as a child and now...she and I sew together- so it will be a private project but I'll start on it this weekend. I'm also going to have my kids make her a big card and bring her in to have them present it to her- they've already seen pictures of her and heard all about her because I love to tell them stories from when I was their age and I tell stories from home. I'm going to treat her to her regular facial as well as her manicure/pedicure as well... and possibly a masoose. Thanks for all your ideas- I hope I am able to get it all put together!

That sounds like a wonderful idea. She will treasure the quilt for sure. :-6

There's nothing I like better than homemade presents...they really say "I care about you." better than a store-bought one!:D

Me too Jives! They show someone loves you enough to take the time to do something just for you! Thats worth more than an expensive gift which has been bought in a hurry and with little thought.
