What should I do?

Post by ruste »

I ordered a photo puzzle as a Christmas gift for my sister and my order was lost. I had to go in several times to check on it and I noticed that the manager was very nice, very handsome and wasn't wearing a wedding ring.:)

I would love to find out more about him but I'm not sure how to go about it. I don't want to appear pushy or nosy and scare him off. He's real nice to me and acts real nervous around me which are possible signs that he's interested but not concrete.

I've only talked to him 3 times in the past two months so I don't think he would have asked me out by now. I need to show some type of interest but I don't know how. This is especially difficult considering that he probably has a girlfriend. I need to find this information out.

I'm due to go back in the next few days to check on the replacement puzzle and I would like to have something ready to say to him. Any ideas?

Hey, ruste, welcome to FG!! You picked a great place to ask your question and you will probably get about 50 different answers. Here's mine:

If there's one thing I live my life by it's the philosophy that you regret what you do, not what you wish you'd done. I don't want to be sitting there one day near the end of my life and think, "Gee, I wish I had done "

He is just another person. What have you got to lose by going up and simply saying, "Hi, I have noticed you the past couple times I was in here and I wondered, if you're available, would you like to have a drink with me?" What's the absolute WORST thing that could happen? He says no. So what? You tried, you probably made his day asking, and you can pat yourself on the back for being brave enough to do it.

The first time I laid eyes on my husband, I told him I wanted to peel him. (He was all in leather motorcycle gear.)

Go for it, lady!!!

And now you have to keep us all informed on how things are progressing!! Stick around, it's a great forum.

Welcome again! :yh_peace

Ask for a big discount, since it's too late for a Christmas gift.

 :D

Sometimes I'm more comfy saying things in a joking way, if you're like that too you can say something like, "you've been so helpful to me, I feel like I should take you out for a drink/dinner/lunch/coffee/whatever to thank you" and then smile and leave it at that, if he's too stunned to respond at least you'll have let him you're interested and he might call you! Good luck!:)
