"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

I'm glad it's over too, Snooze, but I'd wager a month's worth of tips that we'll get more threads about it just BECAUSE we don't want or need them.

NOT over for me...I've got my 3 kids and the 6 grandchildren coming over from 11.30am. I'm having 'open house' so there's no pressure and they can come as go as they please. At some point in time, they'll all be here together and tucking in to the food and opening presents...it'll be a great day. Tomorrow I'm off to the sales to buy a new 'puty'...hope to get a bargain at PC World.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing, have a 'mellow' one.:-6

I am just happy knowing that I don't have to listen to chrismas music again for 12 hours straight at work today.

Christmas is over? OVER - YOU'RE JOKING!! Now is the time to start planning for NEXT year! The so called sales are on, and e-Bay will be crammed with unwanted gifts going for a song. We bought our Christmas pudding in September, spirits came from cheap days in France, sackloads of decorations were being virtually given away at a June bootsale. Spread over the course of the year, Christmas can be a thoroughly enjoyable event, without having a £300.00 food bill. Bought in dribs and drabs, Christmas could be a very cheap and enjoyable affair. Now that Christmas is over, or will be by the 6th. of next month, the bottom has fallen out of the turkey market - why not buy a frozen one for Easter??
In HIM I place my trust.
