Give it some thought, you'll be the wizer

So practice, practice makes rhymes legit
Even when they start out like sh*t. :wah:

Ha,ha, he ,he, you made me laugh
I'll try and learn this rhyming craft
Roses are red and grass is green
This thread will soon become a scream
The rest of the crew will soon descend
And everyones humour wil quickly blend
How am I doing my literary friend
Is it time to say "the end" ?

Bez wrote: Spring is here, the sun is out
Plants asleep are about to sprout
Birds are singing building nests
The warmth of the sun brings garden pests
I love the spring, don't you know it
But this you'll see...I'm a rubbish poet
Your poem seems just fine to me
And filled with positivity.
The mood I'm in is far from good
I should cheer up...I wish I could.
So write some more to make me smile
And I'll be happy...for a while.
And thank you, Bez, you've made me see
There's more to life than me, me, me

Stay clear of the thread that's full of bugs
There's people here that'll cheer you up
Teas in order , go get a cup
Lifes not so bad keep telling yourself
Think flowers and fairies, pixies and elves
Think sun and rainbows and everything mellow
Treat yourself to your favourite 'jello'
I hope this rhyme will lift your mood
If not try some choccy your favourite food
Look forward to May it'll be a blast
Run out of rhymes so this is the last.....

Because my rhyming skills are poor
I'm trying to practise more and more
If you are bored with all my prattle
Please be patient ...it's a battle
Clancy, Arnie and Uncle Kram
Please help me out of this awful jam
ACCs gone and so has Nomad
Guess they're fed up 'cos i'm so bad
So all my friends I need some tips
On how to improve my rhyming quips
I seem to be getting quite carried away
What some people do on a Saturday...
I'm baby sitting baby Lewis
Mum and dad have gone out on the pi$$ ( not really...I'm trying to rhyme)
So I'm all alone at their computy
Like any Nan doing her duty
This ditty is long so I'd better go
And Make some tea....just be a mo..

It's a cold but sunny day
and Spring is on its way
Golf is on my mind
but it is time that I must find
Then off to Tennessee
Easter eggs and family to see
We'll visit and golf a bit
and then will talk and sit
In tune with family and friends........
Until our Easter nears its end
Then back to Ohio in our car
Knitting and sitting the trip's not far
And happy in heart
We end at the start
To continue with life
As mother and wife.

Walk the dog and rock the cradle
Always ready, willing and able.
To make of life a silly game
Break my string, now that's a shame!

Forgot this was a rhyming thread
One more ditty before i go to bed
Been a nice day but now I'm knackered
In rhyming slang that would be 'cream crackered'
Hope your weekend has been some fun
Night night all, for now I'm done

Today I started to mow the grass
But I slipped on wetness, and fell on my a*s
I decided then, that I would cook,
Got lured from the stove,
By a very good book.
Returned to the kitchen,
Thought I would clean...
But I started feeling tired and mean.
I layed on the couch to watch some telly,
Woke up feeling wrinkled and smelly
Took a bath and poured a drink...
And now Ill just play here.. I think

Ha ha weeder I loved your ditty
it's one in the morning more's the pity
If I don't get to bed really soon
I'll wake in the morning with a feeling of doom
So goodnight to all ( for the second time)
I'll see you tomorrow with a new (hopefully better) rhyme

At the sake of seeming myopic
I'd ask to join your topic
Seems a likely thread
To ease a troubled head
Often I've heard the rumor
That showing a sense of humor
Might lead to finding a friend
So my little humor I send

I'm glad you're here, 4rum.
At first I'd thought your name
was sending a waitress for rum,
But now that seems inane.
Now I know you're here for ... um ...
Well, all our reasons' the same
We gather at this forum
Garden 'cause we're all insane.

It's Sunday, It's sunny and I'm full of 'go'
Later this morning the grass i must mow
For now i've the washing and housework to do
But out on the bike is an option too
I'll be back later to enjoy FG
But the rest of the day is me, me, me
For those who are poorly or feeling blue
I've left you these flowers, they're just for you...

OMG -- ryhming thread!!
I'll post a real poem instead!
Make Love to Me with Poetry
Make love to me with poetry,
With words erotic tease,
Each tantalizing syllable,
Evokes enraptured pleas.
The words caress and tantalize,
Draw heat from in my breast,
With each ensuing rhythm,
My passion nears its crest.
I taste each tender word he pens,
My spirit seeks release,
At last the loving torrents flow,
My soul is now at peace.

I'm still working like a slave
This stress will mean an early grave
Not even sure when I can leave
And sometimes I just can't believe
I can't bring this treadmill to a halt
I suppose it really is my fault
And I would not be in this mess
If my boss hadn't seen me in that dress..........

Love it Samantha!!! And hi Uncle Kram! I've missed you.. um do I hafta rhyme that?
I love it Samantha, she said
And hi Unc!! I was going to bed
But sidetracked's what I got
In that monkey rhyme plot
With a smile and a blush she then fled.

One last little post. Don't know where this originally came from, but it's a great poem
Poem
Take strands of speech, faded and broken
Tear them to pieces, word from word
Then take the ravelled shreds and dye them
With meanings that were never heard
Place them across the loom. Let wind-shapes
And sunlight come in at the door
Or let the radiance of raining
Move in silver on the floor
And sit you quiet in the shadow
Before the subtly idle strands
Silence, a cloak, will weigh your shoulder
Silence, a sorrow, fill your hands
Yet there shall come the stirring... Weaver
Weave well and not with words alone
Weave through the pattern every fragment
Of glittered breath that you have known
Hazel Hall

Take much time
Time is very short
Work takes time
No time to rhyme
Time just can't be bought
Busy, busy too at home
Weary to the bone
I'm off to bed to rest my head
Before I get too fraught
Poets all, gather here
Post your life in rhyme
Post your funnies, make us laugh
Please do make the time.:yh_flower

How does your garden grow ?
Flowers and shrubs and plants in tubs
Or vegetables all in a row
Pink or blue or yellow or red
What do you grow in your flower bed ?
Poppies red or scented rose
which do you choose to grow(s)

My seeds I laid
In my little garden
As outside I played.
Rose moss today
And poppies too
Tomorrow some bachelor's
To bloom in blue.
Nothing swetter
Can there there be,
Then the little garden
Planted by me.

4 days off ...good things to do
Grandchildren will come and how we'll play
Silly games the 'Nanny way'
No nintendo no playstation two
Just dominos, cards and peek a boo
We'll go to the park weather permitting
We'll play games .... balls we'll be kicking
So lets all hope for lots of sun :-6
