well at least england have posted a decent score so far but you get the feeling if england can get 400 runs the aussies will post 500. i really hope flintoft has a bit of success with bat but it always seen that whoever is englands captain looses their batting ability.

65 for 3 at the moment. It needs the England bowlers to back up the job started by the batsmen, and so far they're doing well. When I saw the run total, I thought, DAMN! it's a good batting track, and as Australia have more strength in depth in their batting order, I was expecting a big reply(still time). The English aren't the paciest pace bowlers, but they can make the ball swing, and I don't think the Aussies like it, (I wish Simon Jones was fit to play) I don't know if that's what's happening cos I haven't got the TV coverage, just the live scoreboard.

Anyway! COME ON ENGLAND!:D :D :D

He was supposedly played in place of Panesar, because he could bat a bit!...Yeh! like that worked out real well didn't it...I haven't got Sky, so didn't see any of it, apparently his bowling was smacked all round the park, so I heard!

I knew we were in the crap when Freddie got the Captaincy! When you've got arguably the best all rounder in the world, you would want him to concentrate solely on his batting and bowling, in a series like this. Same thing happened with Beefy a few years back, his playing went to pot when he was made Captain! Get Vaughan back as soon as possible, let Freddie do his "day job"...I desperately wanted Simon Jones to be fit as well...I was gutted when he didn't make it!:-3
