Anyone with a theasaurus can create the posts he does...he fits in better at RR.

Be careful not to give him any more satisfaction friends!

Now...I'm off to update my IGNORE thread.....

I read an interesting bumper sticker this weekend "silence kills babies, speak up about abortion" No I am not going on about abortion, I am going on about the concept of being silent... Sorry I can't do it any longer.

Let me be the first to say I still call Spot my friend and am honored to have had the pleasure of meeting him in person.

This person and their multiple identities have had their accounts tied-up. I'll also notify their ISP of illegal computer network hacking if they attempt to register again or disrupt FG.

Interesting point, Minks. I have made a decision to choose my battles from now on, and probably will stay silent about many "controversial" matters from here on in. I have people here I really do enjoy, and people whose posts I do not always read. Just as in the real world...we are not immediatly drawn to all we meet. And this forum is the closest to the real world I have been in a long while.

Oh well, I have made absolutely no sense whatsoever...back pain + pain medication. Need I say more?

I am an oldie in FG years and know how good this forum can be hence my posts. :( I have also met a handful of FG members and know that they as do everyone else contribute to a great forum. It's just sad to watch it unravel.

I saw the other post over at the other site. And immediately starting giving him crap for it. End of the world, give me your liver you curr crap... NO!

Why not floppy, everyone gasps??!!

Because #1 IT WAS IN ANOTHER FORUM, #2 HE POSTED IT WHILE IN DEFENSE OF SOMEONE TOTALLY UNINVOLVED IN OUR CURRENT ANGST, #3 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY TO ME.. I READ IT 'IN CONTEXT' WITH THE WHOLE CONVERSATION GOING ON THERE AT THE TIME.

To have tied more importance to this then it warranted, rewards someone, who does not deserve it, the one who attacked Abbey and our Spot stepped forward to defend.

That was what he was in that thread for.. not to join in the bashing of the naive folks at the garden.

Can we get our heads out of our butts for a moment here? Why are we dragging crap from other forums in here? It none of our business in here, what people say or do elsewhere, unless like Spot, you choose to join in there and discuss their behavior with them there. That's what they do there. That is not what we do in this place.

He DID NOT start another screaming match here to go after the troll who attacked one of ours, he took it to its home base. He made the choice not to stir it up in here.

would you do us all the courtesy of responding to tombstone on the matter of ceding your moderatorship to the westcliff debating rules forum?

i'd like the ability to add you to my ignore list, which cannot happen as long as you are the one person on forumgarden with the privilege of moderatorship.

as you might imagine, i disagree with how important it is. as i've said, a sincere apology does not contain 'finely honed insults' embedded in it. it simply doesn't.

uh, this is rather backwards. the attack happened here, so he discussed it over on RR. spot admitted his apology was no such thing over on RR - which needed to be pointed out here to those he chose to ridicule.

He DID NOT start another screaming match here to go after the troll who attacked one of ours, he took it to its home base. He made the choice not to stir it up in here.

uh. yeah. he chose not to admit here that his apology here was insincere. then gloated about it on RR. i would imagine he wouldn't want to discuss his ethical penury where he committed it.

Try re-reading "I was amazed that anyone took what I wrote for an apology" - it doesn't say it wasn't an apology, it says that I was surprised that it was accepted as one. If you think it means anything else then do tell me why and I can understand your position better.
