Homemade Italian meatballs with spaghetti & fresh Italian bread...also a salad. No dessert tonight.
Dinner turned out to be left over rosemary potatoes, corn on the cob, homemade burgers and garlic asparagus...very tasty.

Where i live, we can buy small cans of plain tomato juice or v8 juice works as well. These are about 4-6 ozs I'd guess. In the bars I frequent, they stock the small cans of juice. I always ordered a large pitcher of beer with a can of juice added. Barmaid/tender would simply dump can of juice in pitcher and top off with beer. To me, it just tastes like carbonated tomato juice. Can't hardly taste the beer.
When I was bumming around out west, I met up with an old rodeo rider from Kansas. He introduced me to that drink and I took a liking to it. It's actually good for you. That way, if you use v8 juice you get lots of vitamins while your drinking.

when my daughter was a little girl she loved my mother's oatmeal. she could have eaten it everyday. mine was never the same. maybe because it was grandma's love oatmeal:)
