It also deals with the history of the Bible. It looks at the changes that have taken place since the first Christian church; additions, subtractions redaction, editing and so forth. Ehrman is an historian specializing in the history of Christianity and its development and changes over the centuries. He was born into a very conservative family and considered himself a "born again" for awhile. Then having had enough of that he became an atheist. He now lists himself as an agnostic which is a good position since nothing in this world is constant except for death and taxes.

It's one man's false opinion who obviously doesn't know his head from his rear. I know many atheists and unbelievers who have become Christians through experiences with God. The evidence is one the side of Christianity and I would challenge him to a debate any day.

Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won't go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

3. If you will confess to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, accept Him as Lord and Savior and believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead you will be saved.

Ro 10:9,10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.."

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus and asking Him to forgive you for your sins and save you. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

American Fascists, which includes interviews and coverage of events such as pro-life rallies and weeklong classes on conversion techniques, examines the movement's origins, its driving motivations and its dark ideological underpinnings. Hedges argues that the movement currently resembles the young fascist movements in Italy and Germany in the 1920s and '30s, movements that often masked the full extent of their drive for totalitarianism and were willing to make concessions until they achieved unrivaled power. The Christian Right, like these early fascist movements, does not openly call for dictatorship, nor does it use

physical violence to suppress opposition. In short, the movement is not yet revolutionary. But the ideological architecture of a Christian fascism is being cemented in place. The movement has roused its followers to a fever pitch of despair and fury. All it will take, Hedges writes, is one more national crisis on the order of September 11 for the Christian Right to make a concerted drive to destroy American democracy. The movement awaits a crisis. At that moment they will reveal themselves for what they truly are -- the American heirs to fascism. Hedges issues a potent, impassioned warning. We face an imminent threat. His book reminds us of the dangers liberal, democratic societies face when they tolerate the intolerant.

I think Socialism is a sin. It's anti God and anti working man. It's anti prosperity. It punishes those who work hard and rewards those who won't work. It breeds laziness and poverty. Trump is HELPING not hurting America. Capitalism built every economic giant in the world. Even China is leeching prosperity from America and are incorporating capitalistic policies which are helping it prosper now. Oh and the stock market at record highs. You are right, the numbers don't always reflect health. Like under Obama, so many people quit looking for work because there was no work that the unemployment rate dropped. Under Trump, there are more jobs than there are people and it's actually making his unemployment rate go higher than it should be. Trump is a genius. The tariffs will cause short term pain, but they are necessary because the world is ripping off America in trade. We lose billions a year due to the trade imbalance. It's worth it for Trump to level the field. Europe, China and other countries started it, Trump is just fixing it. He is just fixing the trad imbalance as he should. It's not fair to America. When a child is taken from their mother? You mean like when a mother commits a crime and goes to jail in your country and the child is taken from her? You mean like that? I don't think it's evil to arrest someone for violating Federal Law of breaking into a foreign country and putting them in jail and making them see a judge. While they are in jail their kids are placed with relatives of that person for about 24 hours until that person sees a judge. IF that person chooses to file for assylem THEN it may take longer, up to a month for them to get their kids back, but it is the choice of the person if they wish to do that or not. They could come Legally and not have their kids taken away and file for assylem, but these people aren't doing that. Any country in the world would treat people much worse than the US even your home country. Trump changed that law that OBAMA started to allow families to stay together anyway. So, my question for you is Why weren't you offended when Obama did the same exact thing? Oh I know, it's because your liberal news source didn't mind at that time. So, you won't answer the question because it shows the massive flaw in your thinking? Ok. Jesus was very clear about what? Where did Jesus say not to arrest people for committing crimes? The Bible IS the very Word of God. If you worship Jesus, you must worship the Jesus of the Bible, not a phony made up Jesus that you wish existed.

The bible was written through 40 men in 3 languages over a 1,500 year period. These men lived in different parts of the world, some were rich, some were poor, some were educated, some were not, most didn't know each other, many of them didn’t have access to the other's writings and yet it fits together as if it were written by one person, because it was inspired by God. It has no true errors or contradictions. There are countless prophecies which have been predicted and fulfilled perfectly in scripture. Many of these prophecies were written hundreds or even thousands of years before they were fulfilled.

Question: IF you don't believe that the Bible is true, as I do, then How do YOU know what Jesus taught? Jesus didn't teach Government forcing people to give by the Government. Jesus taught men giving willingly from the HEART.
