I dont know what this means but I am in a state of bending all kinds of things to sound great right about now: Anyway, I was driving home last night and saw a falling star. I made a wish on it and then turned on the radio. A song was on by the same artist who sings that song: "Waiting for a star to fall and carry you right into my arms, thats where you belong, in my arms, BABY, yeah."

Just a silly little thought, but hey it works for me!:D

Stop laughing.

good luck honey were all rooting for you .:)

Big Fat NEGATIVE. This round was a bust too. What can you do?? Little depressed, little disappointed, little sad, but hey. Nex round should be somewhere around December 1st-ish.

Ok, guys... here is the latest:

I went in yesterday to have my poor little ovaries checked for cysts (which always happens when you over stimulate with Clomid) and there was one but it wasnt that big. I had my estrogen levels checked and they werent elevated so we dont have to take a month off. We go in on Friday (Oct 27th) to start measuring. I should get the shot on Sunday (Oct 29th) and my next IUI will be Monday (Oct 30th). This will be round 3! I will know if it worked on November 15th. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm!!!!!

I'm sorry DG. You've been through so much stress it seems the last couple of months. Enjoy your break through the holidays, relax, drink some good wine and or beer, eat some good food! Just enjoy the season with your family and friends, and come back to the procedures refreshed!

I just hope you don't have to deal with your monster-n-law to much during the holidays. If your gonna have to let us know, we'll start up a pot to collect money to keep you tooted the entire time your around her. :sneaky:

I'll keep everyone posted, I guess.

My cousin (who just found out she was pregnant) was diagnosed with this. They put her on meds that are meant for diabetics. Insulin is a primary cause of PCOS inhibiting fertility, so this should help me get pregnant AND lose some of this weight I have gained. It helped her lose weight AND get pregnant!

Wish me luck!! Hopefully I will be pregnant by the end of the year!
The Shute institute in Canada put couples on vitamin therapy for three months before the try for a baby, and in 23 years Dr Evan Shute never had a troublesome pregnancy. My sioster was told she could not have children but I told her to take some vitamin E and a multi vitamin for 3 months along with her husband. I now 25 years later have four beutifull nieces all of whom have university degrees, try the vitamins you and the husband both them try. Good luck.

Adoption is out of the question ? Or its just not time to consider that yet. As much as you want a child it would be such a blessing for an infant that needs your love.

I want to start the adoption process but hunny doesnt. Real point of conflict at the moment. I see why so many couples facing infertility can divorce. We are working really hard on validating each other's feelings and talking it out for fear of huge fights over it. Also, the money for adoption is crazy. Average is about 12-18 thousand (USD).

We are exploring ALL of our options.

Keep at it, you never know. Good luck. Would you *need* to adopt in the

*immediate* future? If no, then you've got time to think and continue

whatever it is that you're currently trying.

As a matter of interest, what is the 12-18KUSD for, and which way does it go?

Its $12,000 to $ 18,000 dollars to adopt internationally, for domestic its typically more (around $ 40,000) because you pay for the bio mother's medical care pre and post natal as well as rent, utilities and maternity clothes pre natal.

International prices inlcude travel for both adoptive parents, orphange donation, translators, dossier packets, homestudies and application fees.

Also, IVF which would be our next step costs about $ 14,000 USD. So you see, we would have to save a little anyway. Nothing needs to happen in the immediate future, IM just impatient by nature, always have been.:o

SnoozeControl;458839 wrote: Have you two considered fostering a child? I know several people that have done this with a lot of children, and ended up adopting some. I know it can be heart wrenching when the child is given back to a drug addled mother just released from prison, but I think there are many children that are available for adoption that would love a good home.

And this might help your husband see the value of adopting a child. :)

We actually thought about Wednesday's Child which is older children and it would be fast. They have been in the system for a while. My husband works ALOT of hours and when we decide to do this we would like to have the time to really focus on bonding with this child because they have been shuffled around so much. Husband gets a mandatory month off (paid) between all of his contracts so we thought that would be a great time to adopt an older child and let us all get acclimated to eachother. But thats a year and a half away.
