Jihad means struggle....the struggle can be internal or external. The word has been interpreted as Holy War by extremists but apparently that isn't it's true meaning. Once again it's all in the interpretation....and that's what causes the problem , not just for the West but for moderate Muslims everywhere.

It doesn't bother me if you get a kick out of reapplying the definition of anti-semitism, more power to you. Apparently, it makes your argument more enjoyable, touche! But for the rest of the world, anti-semitic means exactly what merriam-webster says it means. Take your case to linguists.

The modern meaning has simply hijacked the original meaning so there is no need for me to reapply it. It's already been done.

Best to go back to the origins of a word I think as oppsed to hijacked definitions.
