Although I disagree with Israel on many many substantial issues, I support Israel's existence as a Jewish state. If you want to know why, look at the history of your continent.

Zionism didn't start in 1945 or 1948, the Balfour Declaration dates from 1917 at a guess and Zionism from the 1880s/90s.

You're refusing to consider the comparison with 1960s segregation and the civil rights movement for the simple reason that it's unanswerable.

Oh, no you don't. There are plenty of Jewish survivors still left although dwindling. There are still witnesses who live. They do see what is going on, but not for much longer; although many alive were child camp survivors & hopefully they will continue to exist for a couple of decades to remind you of the truth. The US government has set a value on the lives of those murdered in Afghanistan and wants to pay $50,000 to the families of each victim.

I Wonder how much input the families have had in what the compensation should be. My guess is they would rather see justice administered via their own legal system instead of America's. Even handing $50k to an American family would be an insult monetarily.

So embarrassing.
