Ok, in reading this, I think the quotes simply got mixed up.

First the "horrible redskins" appears in Bruv's post then it is falsely quoted in Odie's post. It appears Bruv said this and not Odie. Am I mistaken? I know it's very annoying when something is falsely attributed as one's quote so for future reference, just don't do it, it's not appreciated, however I am thinking that this was an honest goof.

Very inappropriate usage of terms, Bruv.

Commercial hunting for profit was the main reason, the destruction of the Native American food supply was an unforseen advantage for encroaching white civilization.

The buffalo pelt was a commodity for Eastern markets-just like in the early 1800s it was beaver pelts, and they trapped those animals to a very low level of existence.

The timeline Jester is quoting from, is pretty acurate as far as executive/Congressional policy was towards the decimation of the buffalo herds, by the 1870s-1880s. Treaties were no longer written, Native Americans were made wards of the federal government, and assigned to live on reservations. The government decided the buffalo was a nuisance, in the way of settlers who would take over lands once shared by buffalo and Native Americans, and many other animals.

Sorry Jester, my little gunslinger, I have tried most of the night to find the link of the report about 'panic' attributing to gunshot death.

I saw it in our press, can't remember which of many papers we get here that it was in, and it was a few years back. If i could remember the title, i could google it. I'll keep looking though.

Yes Odie, i have noticed on here that some FG members seem to even take posts from entirely sperate threads in a vain attempt to ridicule the person they can not beat in debate fairly. Shame because the only one ridiculed is themselves.

There's a thread called "What happens next" and my country men, galbally from Ireland and gmc from Scotland spent the last 3 pages coming out with the biggest load of bollocks you ever saw. It was all in humour. Galbally, gmc and myself were doing it deliberately just to make each other laugh but god forbid, anyone took us seriously, we'd be locked up.

Not just taking the wording but also taking one sentance out of a paragraph to try to score points as well. Without the rest of the paragraph, the sentence is totally out of context.

I don't spend more, I used them constantly only for good credit rating and emergeries......if I cannot afford it, I don't buy it.

and when I get home from making a purchase, I then transfer the amount from my savings to cheqing.....done and paid for then............simple.

When that bill comes in, I authorize my payment over the phone for it..........(but its already been paid for, and in my cheqing account.)

Its a very unusual way to do it, doubt any have done it this way........but for me, it works.

I have never waited to get the bill in and decide can I afford this amount like most do and end up paying high interests rates because they cannot afford the full balance then.

think about my theory.............it works and its priceless!
