Hello Foc'ers:-4 Hope all are well.

Gill, I loved your holiday pics sooooooooo much. I have to go back and look at them a few times. That's my kind of beach. In Donegal, Ireland I stayed at a beautiful hotel on a hill. The strand was in front of the hotel. When the tide was out, people drove their cars onto the sand and left them there. Then the tide came in and flooded their car with 3 feet of water.

Also, there was a small mound that you could walk out to when the tide was out. It was about 15 ft high. You could walk across it and collect shells. There were people also stuck there with small children when the tide came in. The current was a bit strong to carry their kidlets back to shore, so many had to go out and rescue them. I'll see if I can find some pics to post of this beautiful strand and hotel.
