Yeah, I clean the foam and charcol filters a lot...I'm talking about the actual mechanical unit. Now I've gotta go take a bath just to get rid of the smell. I'll invite ya over the next time I do it so you can get a little whiff! :wah:

I love my turtles too...they're worth the work. :-4 My big girl is my baby, I feed her lettuce, banana's and strawberries...no matter how small the piece, she never gets my fingers. My little guy hates to be picked up and wants to bite...but he is getting better over time. I've got them in a 40 gallon tank right now, but we're going to need a much bigger one soon...my girl is 10" in shell length right now and is going to keep growing....she just doesn't have much room to swim anymore. Little guy is only 7". We take them outside in the grass, on our bed, on the furniture etc, just so we can play with them. My puppies are afraid of them! :wah:

OK I have this tendon issue in my right hand a workers comp case. I have been going to Physical Therapy for 6 session now and it is still fozen and I can't bend my right hand down at all. Well I went to the Occupational Therapy Doctor yesterday to get a shot in the tendon to release it. It hurt so damn bad that I had to come home and take a pain pill. I'm happy to say I woke up this morning pain free and able to move and bend my hand down just a bit without pain.

Well I wanted to call the Dr. and thank him but in doing so with movement restored in my hand I accidentally dialed 911 Whoops !! I explained what had happened to the guy he got a chuckle out of it said he would cancel the 911 call. :o
ALOHA!!

Good, I can use something to get my mind off my hubby. Wednesday he wrecked my truck, ended up doing an all nighter at the ER. Had to run all over yesterday, haven't gotten much sleep in 3 days and missed some meds and am having some terrible withdrawls from them. I need another hubby to laugh at!! ;):wah::wah:

A friend in Italy? Wow, that is far. 2 In Indiana huh? They're my neighbors...I'm in very north central Illinois. Flopstock is only about 70 miles south of me so it made it easy for us to meet. I've never been to Louisiana, I heard it's hot...I don't like hot. :wah:

I just want to vent and have a pity party real quick:

My sister was due next Saturday, knew how much it meant to me to be there in the room with her.

She decided to get induced, she broke the news last month. I said I was fine. Yesterday she delivered and I am not fine.

Even with the description of the days events from her, my mother, etc I cried everytime I heard it. I told my husband I was heartbroken and devastated (something I would NEVER tell my sister because I love her and I'll get over it) and he didnt validate my feelings. That made me fell worse. Those words are the only words I can think of to describe my feelings.

So I just wanted to whine about it real quick and get it off my chest.

Thanks for listening.

And I thought for sure they would call me when the baby was coming out, but they didnt they called my uncle. So of course I am jealous. I know my mom being on the phone with him was just a coincidence but I wanted to hear him cry too. He already has two kids and went through it.

I wish that were the case then I wouldnt feel so bad. I am several states away and she was just tired of being pregnant. Its ok. I talked to my mom about it and she gave me a pep talk.

My sis is a wonderul person and I would never let on that I fell the way I do because she would be so hurt. Its not her fault I cant get pregnant anyway.

Oh well. My baby will come.
