If I remember this correctly, a mutual friend mentioned to me that Odie was very upset because she had inadvertently posted something that upset another member.

I think the member had posted something about their bird(it died) and Odie popped in with one of her 'hope it's doing better, give us an update' comments...:-3

Since I didn't know Odie very well, I figured she'd feel a lot better if someone unexpected started this thread rather than a friend just trying to make her feel better.

It worked. .....................

I interact with a very very select few on these boards, unless it is mod related. I like my space and distance - that's just me. I actively avoid those who feel I have offended them, whether that was my intent or not. So I avoided Odie unless there was something I needed to do as a mod.

But yesterday, when I was sitting here worrying about her family and Shel's loss of someone who shined for her when she needed it, I was reminded of this thread and found myself rather glad that I had stepped out of my box for a moment....

Go Odie!:-6

My husband and I were talking about Joan today and with affection we wondered on the conversation that she would have had with St Peter at the gates.

Joan.... And you never answered my last e mail. Where have you been? You told me you were going to be home today and you haven't answered me. I waited In all day for you to reply.

Yes, i know you replied but you haven't answered my other e mails. Are you pissed with me for some reason?

yep, that would be Joan.

Ah, this thread made me cry and I barely knew the woman. I wish she had been allowed to have a few more years with her family and friends, poor soul.
