I think it would. What would be really nice Valerie, is if you checked who the post was made by before refering to it in haste. If you go back over the thread, you'll find it was not me who made any comment either way about "Mcsame" I'm sure you'll find it was another member. (unless i'm going senile) I certainly don't mind being critisized but at least get the poster correct first.

BTW is by the way :wah:. I know what you mean about the letters. Sometimes you just have to smile and nod like it's a foreign language.
Nancy Pelosi presides over the House of Representatives. The VP presides over the Senate and casts the deciding vote in case of a tie (Senate only).

Be a man of conviction, make your yes, a yes, and your no, a no. Be clear, be concise and give reasons. A clear 'NO' spoken for a good reason is far better than a 'present'.
On the other hand Barack Obama has a committed relationship with his wife, his first and only wife. That speaks about his character in personal relationships.
I'm learning that everything is a trade off.In a similar post i said to Valerie, is McCain's past relationships that important? Is it not, What he can do for the future? If we get personal about his ex sex life, we could have had a riot with Clinton. Clinton did it whilst in Office then lied. That's far worse. "I repeat, i did not have sexual relations with that woman". McCain has not done that. What sort of standard did Clinton set with Monica Lewinski? Yet, he was a brilliant President. Before i go to bed, i just found this in "the Sun" newspaper by colomnist "Fergus Shanahan". Quote" Here are the most powerful shoes in the world. They are £40 red patent leather peep toe pumps with three-inch heels. Republican Sarah Palin is wearing them as she tramples Democrat Barack Obama underfoot. To be seen off by a woman after he snubbed Hilary Clinton is bad enough, but to be beaten by a pair of heels??? " Priceless reporting:wah::wah::wah:

Senator John McCain may not be your favorite candidate but he is a Senator and he is a hero. His status as a honorable human being deserves better than your childish name calling. I served in Vietnam at the same time he was sitting in prison there. I find your cheap shots personally offensive.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there chief, I believe I ASKED if it was you:
"Wasn't it you that said... " etc. etc. and if it wasn't, all it would take
was a "No, it wasn't me" not all the snark directed at me. I was trying
to be nice in any case, I guess I see that isn't the way to go with
you.
Forgive me for thinking it was you, I will apologize for that, but as for
the rest, I still think it would be a nice gesture if you met me half way.

I've just made a very rude noise - luckily it does not translate very well into text or I'd get an infraction for it.
Now try putting youself at their viewpoint and re-evaluating your reply.

I'd love to see #2 in their own threads. I agree with #2 for probably the polar opposite reasons, and while I'm no historian I'd love to see those more knowledgeable than I am discuss #3.

As i said to Valerie in a previous post, i am not interested in either McCain or Obama's sex life with exception of McCain's service in Vietnam. My uncle was a WW11 Japanese p.o.w. I understand how you feel. Anyone who goes through that is a hero in my book.
