Kay, I do hope you get more sleep soon, have you thought about ear plugs, a blindfold, a gag ? - you can choose what goes on whom LOL Joking apart, when my son was a baby and he wouldn't settle to sleep, I used to put some instrumental music (usually classical - no vocals) on the radio or tape-player (softly, just as background), and it worked wonders - he was out like a light in no time !! It got him into a pattern of sleeping at certain times.

When I was a child, and my grandmother stayed with us for a few months, my mum was practicing piano for her LRAM (exam to qualify as piano teacher) - My gran was put in my bedroom and I had to sleep on a put-you-up in the same room as the piano ! Mum always did a couple of hours practice in the evenings, and I soon fell asleep while she played ! Consequently, since I became an adult, I don't dare go to a concert because I'd be asleep in 10 minutes LOL

Kaz, it's been hectic here since we got back - I need another holiday to get over it LOL

My dog just looks for sticky up things that he can mark his boundaries on :wah: Just before he goes for a walk, he just seems to know that it will happen any minute, so he goes to his water bowl and stokes up ready for his task !!! Just makes me crack up, and as soon as he gets back he goes straight to his water bowl again to replace all the liquid he's deposited around the neighbourhood :wah: Rex doesn't bother about birds or mud, but cats................................................... oops....................
