Hello from LT

Post by Littletenderness »

Hi everyone, I found this place whilst looking for a forum for bereaved parents.

I did actually answer a post before I realised that I should have posted here.

I prefer not to give my name, just call me LT if you want.

Hoping maybe I might find somebody here who can empathise with the pain due to the killing of your child. :-1

Hi LT. Those are the most terrible circumstances to deal with. Some of us are good at listening, give it a try, I hope we can help. Welcome to the forum.

Thankyou to all of you for the welcome. There are no handbooks to explain or guide you through the nightmare that comes with the loss of the most precious thing in your life. I have known grief throughout my life with the loss of grandparents and parents, then my own brother, all tore me to pieces but I fought my way through with the love of my husband two boys and our beloved daughter. She worked for a Lawyer, was 23yrs old and the kindest person I have ever met, I'm so proud of her. She was driving to pick up friends one evening, when a Drunk and Drugged driver smashed into her car, drivers side at 90mph Poor darling, she had the G-force of 7,000 tons of metal straight into her.

I live daily with these images and can't get rid of them...just wanted to talk to someone who might know how I feel.

HI Hun, I can only imagine what you have been through, any death takes time, but that of a loved one will take much much longer, were a great bunch here and always willing to listen!

I lost my dad at age 13, I was in shock for over a month, that was 43 years ago, not a day goes by when I don't think about him, and visiting his graveside and just talking to him really helps.

Have you seen anyone professionally?..........I did, and it really helped me.

and welcome to our forum!

I've already sent Jimbo a PM to have him look at this and see if he can help. If anyone can help Jimbo can.
