A trolley, also referred to as a shopping cart in the US; sometimes referred to as a carriage or shopping carriage in the New England region of the US; also known as a bascart in some regions of the US, basket in others, and buggy in the American South and parts of Western Canada.

I found it interesting that here in Victoria that they refer to them by the same name that they are known as in the American Deep South.
