We don't fire our guns very often, maybe 5 times a year. I would rather be over cautious than have regrets later.

Interesting - perhaps that's climate-related, too? I have seen and used some

fairly old guns that have had very irregular cleaning (and very heavy use!) in

the UK - they're still in good fettle.

guns here are illegal...............but of course criminals have them, they are easy access if one wants one.
Life is just to short for drama.
