It seems like a lot of people like to play Bejewled in the arcade. I couldn't open the instructions. Can anyone tell me how to play the game.

You click on a stone, to swap it with one next to it-3 in a row, or more, and they descend dowards and you get points. It is a timed game, and lots of fun.

Every game is different, depends on your computer and net. Some have instructions, some assume you already know them.

Some kids actually came to practice cutting class!
They showed up, then wandered the grounds and ducked into bathrooms.
The funniest thing to me was watching a few parents, mostly moms but not exclusively, lead their teenager by the hand up to my table (I gave out free t-shirts) and actually sign up for the kid! After a couple of those I started nicely recommending that they let their kid start acting like they're in high school. One parent looked at me like I'd just cured her cancer. :wah:

Can I ask our southern members a question?
I'm wondering why you start school so early....think many southern schools start sometime in August....Why get out of school in May or early June when the weather is good and kids are still in "school mode?" Just seems to be too hot in August and I'm sure many schools do not have air conditioning....
I live in a seaside, tourist town so we get out around June 16th and begin school in the fall around September 2nd. Most of our kids and parents work in the tourist industry and need to be working during this season.

Sure! That's how we can start in August.
:D "school mode" is cultural, local. As May winds down here, the kids wind up. We practically have to nail their feet to the floor come June. :wah:

Yes it was, especially with my room key burning a hole in my pocket.
There's still some doubt about whether I will have my own room or have to share it with another teacher. We are projected to have 17 BMU kids this year.
We split them into two classes, but now they're having trouble finding another room.

If my dept head can't get it done, an entire wing of angry teachers oughta do it.
That'll happen around day 2.

My mentor retired, and a couple of people left that I really liked, but the awesome administration is still intact and I've already got new network contacts to help me learn my craft.
