My mate's handfasting

Two of our coven got handfasted (pagan wedding) a couple of weeks back and she just sent me some pics through, so I thought I'd share as I thought she looked amazing!

Myself and my best mate Deb went to the venue first thing in the morning to set up the space, we also did her flowers and lots of nerve-calming, hehe!

You can join any time you like, we'd be glad to have you!

With a pagan wedding, you write your own vows to each other and the union is blessed by the representation of the elements and the goddess rather than god. The couple's hands are bound with cord while they make their vows and then they jump the broom!

You could always have a look at some local moots near you, they're quite good fun! They have talks, excellent bashes at festival times and you get to know a few people!

If you're interested, have a look on www.witchcraft.org (I'm a member there too) or the pagan federation.

Yeah, they sure do like bringing people together, hehe!

The good thing is that it's a site that helps put people in touch with groups in your region and it doesn't matter how much experience you have...everyone's really helpful!

Some of those pagan guys are seriously cute though Boops...you should have seen the talent-fest at our local Beltane Bash this year! Wooooeeeee!!!! More fit, long-haired shirtless dudes than you can shake a stick at! It was all I could do to reel my tongue back in and stop dribbling!:-3:D

So your a sort of female bishop, Pinky? That'll be why the Roman Catholics won't want to merge with you I expect. Never mind, you'll all be able to smile sweetly at them when they finally arrive in heaven and they'll feel a right bunch of prats.

Oh, I don't know about the bishop title Spot, the hat tends to be a little more pointy and I have a mortal fear of choirboys!
