finally gone down to 1.27 a litre, still way way way to high, it was 1.37.

no excuse for this, now they are higher because of a Hurricane that may have affected oil rigs..................but they didn't, so whats the next excuse?

The last time I worked it out on another forum, it worked out to seven dollars. It's gone up since then.:-5 I'm really starting to wish I'd bought a sensible car instead of the 2.4 litre V6 beast that I currently own.:-5

It costs me Â£75 to fill the bugger. Now that's just scary. How does that work into dollars?

Sunday morning filled up in NE at $3.79/gal reg, before going on trip to NJ.

Should have waited, :-2 as in NJ the price's ranged from $3.29 to $3.42/gal reg. Lucky me, my state has the higest "TAXES" on gas in all of good ol USA!

Ontario just passed a new tax bill when you renew your license sticker for 74.00....................we now will pay an additional 60.00 for tax!

My state charges $85 for the license plate renewal fee. Then it is obnoxious enough to charge annually a percentage "property tax" depending on the town you live in, on anything that needs to be registered. Such as cars, (my car is taxed $2,155 tax each year, it depends on the value of the car) boats, trailers, motorcycles, motorhomes, and last but not least of course, all houses! Add to that a 6% sales tax, & a 4.3% state "income tax", and you're taxed to death!!! :wah:

our property tax's on the house are 2200.00 per yr.

never ever paid tax's on a sticker renewal..........government here really pisses me off.................they spend, we pay!:-5

Our house tax was $6,743 "last" year, & as yet, they haven't sent out this year's tax cause it's gong to be increased, they just haven't decided on how much yet. It was supposed to be paid by the end of August. Now sometime this month we'll be getting the bad news of just how much of an increase it is! And it will be due the end of September :-5 :wah: :-5

Well we're lucky, (?) our trash removel fee is included in our house taxes! :wah: But they only come once a week!!! And "recycling" only comes every "two" weeks!!! In FL, they collect our trash Tueday's & Friday's, with recycling collected every Friday!
