Post by SuperPowerChina »

Haha, what a fantastic olympic game! I bet you guys who still have cold war minds feel so disappointed ,right?(Especially those old guys who faced the western big failure in Korea and Vietnam wars, lol Jealousy is so bad) woho, I know you felt so happy when some western protesters who pretended to be Tibet savers stopped the torch in some old, outdated cities like Paris london. And You laughed at us when the big earthquake happend in china,(just watch what Sharon stone said.)But China has won finnally! My god ,China has succeeded? How can a poor oppressed third world country succeed??lol you are living in the 1900s?

We have shown the world a fantastic , successful Olympic game. I know you guys envy us. We didn't fail.Oh it's so disappointing ,right?haha, you guys who have experienced cold-war still consider China as an enemy, because we are communist, whatever we do is always wrong. And your biased media only broadcast negative news about china, so why shouldn't we censor these rubbish?China is never ever so free modern rich like now(I mean in the last 100 years)! we enjoy everything in our lives.Don;t listen to those guys who have never been to china or who have yellow faces but have other country nationality.I know China did bad things in the 1900s.But This year is 2008, 2008 ok? China is the fastest growing economy,so you can't change your mind as fast as our growing speed. If you treat us as enemy, we would ally with RUSSIA and ISLAM WORLD, if you really miss cold war so much, we just show you a new cold war and world war 3.o yeah!

Otherwise, you MUST welcome China ,accept China and be friendly to China, including chinese international students, chinese tourists, and chinese immigrants(these immigrants may be not confident because they have been living in your countries, so they can't feel great progress, pride and success in China) and After olympics China will be No.1 Superpower and domnate in olympic sports, Economy, and perhaps military?(it depends on you if we need to defend you or not)!o yeah.GO GO CHina!China is not a sleeping dragon, but a flying Dragon!

Don't doubt it, China had been No.1 for 2000 years , only in the last 200 years we were weak, because some barbarian races only knew killing people and colonizision.and If you read some Prophecy like Bible Prophecy ,Yama prophecy or Chinese Tuibeitu prophecy, China would be No.1 again very very very soon. What about India? lol they didn't mention it...If you are still unfriendly and racist against China, By that time every single chinese would be racist too !o yeah!

(Btw, what's wrong with Tibet??? Read chinese history and go to tibet to have a look then you can say if tibet is free or not.I think you can't be bothered to read chinese history.so let me tell you . China consists of 56 races, not only Han. Tibet has been chinese territory since 2000 years ago!So UK occupied India, She wanted to occupy Tibet ,so greedy! But she failed,so she told everyone, Tibet was an independent country, then Her son tells her son and so on!Is this ridiculous?IF northern ireland wanted to be independent, Would you agree?o you didn't agree.)

(Dala lama was Honoured as the spiritual leader By Mr MAO in 1950s,I know you don;t know this.)Anyway ,this is politic

Politics aside, it is a marvelous Olympics China is hosting, and so much fun to watch all the athletes. China has been a very gracious host, and so many beautiful scenes of the country are seen on our coverage.

Have you been to any of the games?

I agree Chonsi. It's been a wonderful game this year with people you would have never thought of winning, winning.

Wasn't it Tansinia that won gold in one of the swim meets? Fantastic. My only wish would be that every country could get at least one gold medal.

Being a quilter, I love the fabrics and costumes of China.

It's easy for one person to blame politics on an entire country but, as individuals, I think we get along better. We are more gracious and understanding of one another culture.

Thanks to China for hosting the games and taking good care of the athletes and their families! I've heard a couple got sick and one swimmers wife hurt herself. :-6

Actually I don't think I heard any negative news about China the entire time. The reporters said they were surprised at how little controls were placed on them ... some not at all!

Which leads me to think you're not Chinese at all and just enjoy being a swizzle stick.

Well done on the Olympics, but don't get cocky kid, this news of the imminent death of Western Civilization is a little premature. After all, we have been knocking around since 800 BC, (that was Homer's time, he was a Greek, you may have heard of them, they were the start of Western civilization, they were very, very clever people). Like the wiser people in China understand, sometimes your civilization is up, sometimes it is down, but we will never be out, you can be assured of that. ;)

I think that you are a fraud trying to stir things up.

But if not then, well done on the Olympics, I like the way you faked the fireworks display at the opening ceremony.

Oh and when it is all over, you will still be under a communist government with no human rights, but hey, at least you have a few golds.

Super,

I wasn't talking about Mike. I was talking about you. You were angry on the first day that you walked into the garden. Instead of introducing yourself you started your first thread with the following words....please reread you first thread below...."Chip on your shoulder"

means that you're angry about something and holding a grudge.

No one is asking you to leave. We don't even know you because you're being so negative.I just don't understand why you're so angry. Reread your original post and you'll see that you walked into the garden with a chip on your shoulder. We are very nice, friendly people here...maybe you should just chill a little and get to know us. Maybe we should just start over again.

You keep saying how young you are. 19 years old is young but not necessary as immature as you are acting.

Some people here have said some very nice things to you but you choose to ignore them and choose to fight instead. Very immature.

Perhaps Forum Garden isn't the place for you. I hear Nickelodeon has a very nice sight for young people. :D But stay if you want to, we love people from different places.

I'll forgive you, as well. There's obviously reason behind some of your resentment towards outsiders. Having spent quite a bit of time traveling throughout your country, I can also say that you do speak some truth, regarding some perceptions about China and it's citizens. In my experience, some areas of China aren't so different than the US, anymore.

Well I am just a patriot, I love my country so much ,because My country has made great progress. Why do you still think everyone who loves China is loyal to the communist party?>.This is still cold war mind.

Well I am only 20 now, I am even not a communist party member..And the young generations in china really love this country and the party so much , you may ask why we love such an evil party?. There must be some reasons ,one of the reasons is this party makes our lives much better and freer.Although it is not perfect, but it is moving to the right direction.(and please don't say that we are brainwashed....)

They've done a great job, your country's flying high. I'm impressed that you've not only built the Olympics - I hope we can manage to impress next time in our own understated way - you've also got an economy with an exciting future.

What I'm interested in, if you have the time, is to explore the content of the Chinese History lessons you did at school since you've brought up the subject of, for example, the Opium Wars earlier. This isn't the thread to do it in but if you start one on Chinese History from the material you covered I'd be pleased to join you in it.
