My very first concert was John Mellencamp... saw a few of those shows from backstage before he was really big.

That must've been something seeing Bob Seger back then, Southern Yankee... he always put on quite a show.

Mine was Flying South, an upcoming bluegrass band in 1981. The best one I've been to was Indigenous which is a now defunct Sioux blues band.

I saw Martha Reeves and the Vandellas perform in Baltimore around 1970. I enjoyed the show very much. :)

Every time I hear "Saturday In The Park "

Takes be back to my first concert - 1973 Seattle CHICAGO...

I was 15 a sophmore in high school - had to be home by midnight.

the only reason I was allowed to go - it was my brothers friend.

nice guy actually - but my brother got too protective.

met up with him again @ 6 yrs later.

remained friends

fun time

Tim McGraw, I got hit in the head with a very large bra. The woman behind me didn't have very good aim. :o

I'm wondering whether I can remember accurately.

My opinion, quite probably accurate, is that the first ever concert I went to was Rod Stewart and the Faces, then Osibisa, then Curved Air, then Deep Purple, all in the town I was living in that summer, two at the local Student Union and two at the Concert Hall. I've a horrible suspicion I saw T Rex the same summer.

13 years old I went to see Rush at the CNE Grandstand in Toronto. Max Webster opened.

I will never forget it.

Wish I had seen Supertramp, still one of my favorite bands.

Alright Accountable - where & how old were you when you saw CHICAGO ?

you can't just state the band without a explanation...:-2

Mine was CHICAGO also

One of my best jobs was working for the concession company for all concerts.

Loved it - served beer and was able to see so many individuals & bands.

fun job
