I did talk about feathers, yes...I'll bet you that was a sign. I firmly believe in those things and according to people who communicate with those who have left us, feathers are one of the things they use to communicate to us that they still come around now and then.

This is a good book if you are interested:

Feathers Brush My Heart

It's about moms communicating with their daughters after death.

So....wow. I spent a foolish amount of time tonight collecting graphics off the web. And adding them to my Photobucket account. I must have swiped a hundred, I'm sure. I love doing that, it's very relaxing. And I added a LOT to my collection of butterfly graphics.

I should be asleep but it's too hot to be comfy and I'm not that tired tonight.

By the way, anything anyone wants to post in here (as long as it's FG-friendly of course) is A-OK by me. Maybe we need some jokes and pictures and stuff!

I like having this "room." I'm happy that you guys come in here! :-6

So what are everyone's plans today?

ye well it fell on me from above and i was inside my caravan:-2 so there ye go ... also my dad in law said the clock had stoppped at 6pm the day beofre her anniversary, a year ago it would have been that day and yes she died exactly 6 pm! she was a strong character so if anyone would make her presence felt it would be her:sneaky::wah:

Im just off to do the veggies for Sunday Lunch now ,, i'll be popping back while they are steaming, and roasties are roasting:D

HI JIm, and Kathy:D

Thank you Jimbo :-4

And thank you Kathy Ellen for the cool signature! I will use that. :-6

I think Jimbo, that rescued animals have a sense of knowing they were saved. I really do think this. Most dogs and cats in general seem to love you if you love them and treat them kindly but there's just something about an animal who was in the pound or on the street or in some other bad situation...they just seem to be....extra grateful. :)

I'm doing great. Glad that you're feeling a little better. I agree about having a sweet dog for your companion.

Wish I could have a pet, but I'm not home enough to take care of one:(

That's pretty, Kaza! Thanks!

Well the book might be a touch sad because it is dealing with loss, but I found it more uplifting than anything because it gives hope and reassurance. :)

Good deal! :)

I'm having another sleepless night but no bother really.

I am downloading more bluegrass. Just got done with Ralph Stanley, Jim and Jesse, Alison Krauss and Bill Monroe.

You know, there's another former member who is learning banjo. Hopefully he'll be showing up soon and I can introduce you. :-6

Hi Terri,

Just popping in to say hello and hope all is good with you;)

~really, really love how you change your avatars and all your black and white photos...:-4~ very nice.....

I've spent the last week in school setting up my classroom...all the hard work is done now thank goodness.....

Do you have any cool ideas that I can print and hang outside my classroom for the kids to......google, oooohhhh and ahhhhh with shear delight? The site you found for "hand art" was so fabulous and the talk of the town. Please let me know if you find anything like that again.....I was the teacher of the year to the kids, but I gave all the credit to you:D

Leaving some red glitter for you

Hey Kathy Ellen!! :-4

Do you have pictures of your classroom now that's it's all decorated and set up?? That would be fun to see! I remember when I was a really small kid how I liked all the neat things my teachers had around the room.

I am going to make it my little mission to find cool stuff for you and your kids! That will give me something to do and I love finding neat things to show people. How old are your students again?? I'll see what I can come up with. :-6

Thank you for the pretty sparkly things! I think I'm going to have to use the glitter one in my signature soon! :)

Ahhhhhh, thanks Terri....:-4 I'd appreciate that....After posting your hand art pics...the kids expect miracles from me now:wah:

I meant to take my camera with me today but forgot. I'm going back on Monday and will take some pics...:wah: but I can't post pics with my kidlets in them......

Since this is Sept. and we don't know the kids yet, we have to have the classroom very organized and in rows....can't post too many fun things as the kids might think their teacher is not serious and toooooo easy.

But once the year goes on the children are put into groups for activities and experiments.....and things lighten up :wah:

Thanks for looking into creative pics for me...you'll be our hero....I'll even have the kids write you a thank you note when they can finally type.

I've taught every grade from 1-8, mostly 6th grade science. Now, I teach the 3rd grade.....8-9 yr. olds and absolutely love it.

Chat soon:-6
