This has to be watched very closely by anyone with even a passing interest in world stability, I may be wrong but I believe that the Wahabi (sic) strain of Ilsam started there

Puritanical Saudi Islamic sect founded by Muhammad ibn-Abd-al-Wahab (1703–1792), which regards all other sects as heretical. By the early 20th century it had spread throughout the Arabian peninsula; it still remains the official ideology of the Saudi Arabian kingdom

Most of the holiest Moslem sites are there. Whoever controls Saudi Arabia has tremendous influence. Not sure if a western-friendly guy would be good for us or not, with the extremists and all. Possibly the best for us would be a Moslem extremist who is also a separatist.

I just have the pets now. There were a bunch of them under the hat that couldn't be trained. I hope PETA doesn't mind because they met their maker. I should have taken the hat off sooner. Thanks for asking. :wah:

They are very spiritual and don't want their pictures taken. I just refer to them by their number. #1003 has a broken leg.

I was at a dinner and the Governer was the speaker. My seat was right in front of the podium. This guy sat down next to me and as soon as he did I asked him if he was security for the Governor. He said "shhhh". We had an interesting (quiet) conversation about his job.

I was recurited for this group, and I didnt want to have nothin to do with those guys! Not that they were bad guys, some good buddies on it... but what do I do when I have to chose between the state and the feds?

Seemed to me you could get placed in a very bad position.
The thing I remember most about the conversation I had was that the Governor liked to run and the guy I was talking to said he had a hard time keeping up.

It sounded like pretty boring duty then. I imagine it isn't so boring now.

BBC News - Saudi Arabia's new King Salman promises continuity

Perhaps the citizens of Saudi Arabia might, this time, stop the House of Saud from dictating Saudi politics. Today would be a good day to draft a new Constitution rather than put it off for yet another decade.
