Hello Everyone,

Since our travelling tshirt is lost in space somewhere, I've asked Buttercup if I could purchase another shirt so we can continue this thread. I had originally planned on driving up to New York and taking some nice pictures, but have summer company for the next two weeks. So, I've taken a picture in front of the Barnegat Bay in Noo Joisey. I will send the shirt onto Bryn Mawr tomorrow or Monday. Bryn will take our little "Yankee" fella on a tour of London. You can contact him if you wish to have the shirt next.

GO YANKEES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's arrived - thank you Kathy for a remarkably quick turnaround and a mega t-shirt (if only it didn't have that funny logo on the front it would be perfect :p).

I'll take it travelling tomorrow and see what sights are to be seen :-6

Hi Bryn,

I can't believe that the t-shirt arrived sooooo quickly. I only mailed it from Noo Joisey on Saturday morning, and it arrived in the UK Tuesday.

Have fun with the little "Yankee" fella:wah::p

Given that we'd been to Trafalgar and Waterloo we decided to pay our respects.

To the Australians, Kiwis, Canadians and those from the Indian sub-continent and the Caribian

Today we were told that the South African War Memorial was just down the road so we went to see.

It turned out not to be - it was Lion Chasing Impala erected to commemorate the opening of the park but I include it to commend the riding style of the local youngsters :-

I hate to think how Drake sailed round the world in a ship so small

WOW......BRYN :-6

You're pictures are absolutely fabulous. I can't thank you enough for taking all of these beautiful pictures. I visited London twice when I was 19. I loved the city then, but was young and immature...didn't do enough sightseeing. I do plan to return one day and take a first hand look at all the places you visited these last 2 days in your lovely city. You must have gone through 2 pair of shoes with all the walking you did:wah:

I'm going to print out all of the pictures and show them to my family tomorrow. :wah:Thanks for taking such good care of the little guy. Hope he didn't chew your ear off about the

Yankees:D

Thanks again Bryn...great job..

If you ever manage to make it across the pond I'd be honoured and delighted to take you for a guided tour of this fair city.

I only had two run-ins with the little fellow - a "concerned citizen" thought my rucksack was a bomb (I'd put it down for two seconds to take a pic) and a homesick New Yorker spotted him and came a runnin' but disappeared rapidly when he heard my accent :wah:

Careful with your invites....you may see me sooner than you think:wah: Seriously, That is soooooo nice of you Bryn and I appreciate that. I might be coming across the pond next summer or the next year if all goes well. So far, I'll be meeting Pinkchick, you and Dubsie..wooooohoooooo:-6Same here if you come to the USA.....hey, I'll take ya to

Noo Yoooke...we'll go to see a Yankee game:-6

It was so windy at the bay that I couldn't hold onto the little guy as my pic was being taken. Some joggers kept trying to hold onto the guy as I'm yelling at them to get out of the picture...damn Yanks:D...they don't listen....
