What it means is I've found a vet hospital that is hiring techs. These jobs are few and far between, and I submitted my resume today. My previous post is me PRAYING I get this job. I'd give a limb to get back into animal medicine... :yh_pray

I had a boss that told me when he was a kid he pooped at his friends house and it wouldnt flush so he found his friends moms comb in the medicine cabinet and sawed it in pieces till it flushed then washed the comb and put it back.

Ill never forget that story.

I'm watching "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" right now. This has got to be the most bizarre movie I have ever seen. Usually I like bizarre. Not anymore.:-3

You know actually I think hes a pretty good straight man.

I usually go for the big epic dramas but I really like quirky and the independant films.

If you get Netflix they have a good selection of Sundance award films.

Did you like Being John Malkovich ?

Nomad, I hate to disappoint, but I have not yet seen Being John Malkovich. I know that makes me less of a movie fan in your eyes...but there it is. :yh_giggle

You know what? I really like this new feature we have on FG: "Who's Online." You can click on it and see what everyone, including lurkers, are looking at. It's funny how many lurkers poke around the old threads.

I dont highly recommend it really it is quirky but in a serious way, its ok but not great.

Fargo is a good example of my kind of quirky.

I know they do that on all the forums.

Some people like to sign in as invisible and creep around undercover.

yeah, that was a big disappointment. The original screenplay was fantastic. but just before shooting they went with a different director and he skewed far off into "no man's land" with it.

turned out like crap.

But this one little boy had gotten an old enema bag and filled it with rocks, and he would go around and whap the other children across the face with it. Man, I think my heart almost broke. Later the boy came up and offered to give me the toy. This was too much! I reached out my hand, but then he ran away. I chased him down and took the enema bag. He cried a little, but that's the way of these people.

If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look.
