Today is my father's 97th Birthday!!!

He lives in Pennsylvania so we can't celebrate with him (we're in Virginia). We had the White House send him a birthday card, which they do for anyone over 80...you request it on their website.

I'm very fortunate he's still in good health and takes care of himself. He has his own apartment. I do hope I've inhereted his longevity genes.

In case you're wondering, he was 45 when I was born.
