Rocketing Cable TV prices

Post by cars »

Cable TV prices are rocketing towards the Sky! I have heard that "Satilite - Dish Networks" are far less expensive. But don't know anyone that has one to ask them if the reception is as good, or better than Cable. Does bad weather affect reception, or even block it? Anyboby out there have a Dish network?

No comparison. Satellite is super super. Bad weather outages? Hardly ever with us. Even when it does, it is for a few seconds.

Doesn't your cable go out a couple of times per year or more?

Similar is the situation in India. The world, it seems, has really become small.

If it were not for the Sci-Fi I would be more vocale with my wife about getting rid of the cable bill.

She complains if I watch to much TV. Seems to me if we are going to pay for it we should use it.

Don't watch TV like I use to now that I'm addicted to the internet:)

illuminati, thanks for you reply. Glad to hear the Satellite is super, I will definetly consider it, as my cable bill keeps raising every few months. They are having special introductory offers here (in CT USA) so I might just take them up on it.
