We up here in the northern midwest call them bread rolls too...

Biscuits to us are morning biscuits and we primarily only eat them in the mornings...

here in the south biscuits and rolls are all kinda in the same catagory we eat them with any meal, bread is a term reserved for loaf bread! :-6

Yeah sorry...I meant "us" as in northern midwesterners...I should have clarified that...

To be honest I have to say that southern U.S. meals have been some of the best meals I have ever eaten...

Georgians(U.S.) without a doubt know how to cook...

I remember having a friend who's grandparents were from Georgia and they'd made the most delicious roast I have ever had in my entire life...Juicy, full of flavor and so tender it literally melted in your mouth...

I've never had a better roast since and I don't think I ever will...

it's cooking that is passed down from generation to generation, you learn it in the kitchen as a little girl watching momma!

and the women around here have secrets to there recipes, and they won't tell you either! :wah:
