I'm sadly lacking in the convict background, Carol - here it of course conveys status!!! My family on both sides were refugees from Europe. However the really important thing is cake.. and lemme see. My favourite two right now are baked New York cheesecake and that one that's got no flour in it - just almond meal and orange juice and poppyseed... SWOON

My little Sophie has been a great comfort and with encouragement from my daughter I have started to take her for her daily walks around the local duckpond where I am meeting up with other dog walkers.

I am still knitting my dolls the two I did while sitting with Tony I have kept but a clown I knitted I have given to a friend who has a coffee morning tomorrow for *Precious Lives* a charity raising funds to build a children's hospice down here in Cornwall.

Carol the list of films you posted are interesting but I haven't seen Notebook, is it on a DVD ??

Hope anyone who has been unwell are now feeling better.

Helen we are coming to Newquay next Tuesday so hope to look in for fish and chips maybe we will get the chance to meet up at last.

All from me for now.Love and All Good Wishes to everyone.

I wouldn't worry to much Carol.

We all know nothing will ever change .I must admit though if I was running a business I wouldn't let anyone try to ruin it for me.

Go figure ;):rolleyes::-6

Hello each !

Hi Kay, I hope you are improving Mrs !! Yes I got your message there, but my opinion still is the same matey !! :-5

Hi there Hope, Ally, hope you're OK and have a good day or night in Ally's case !

Hi Joan, lovely to see you pop in ! So sorry to hear your sister has gone too ! It is a good job you have your faith to help you through this very sad time, and that you are taking your little Sophie for nice walks. Yes she must be quite a comfort to you Joan. Dogs seem to know how you are feeling and all they want to do is to please you and be your friend, and they ask for nothing in return. Will you be able to bring Sophie when you go to Newquay ? I can imagine the meeting between your Sophie and Helen's Wallace ! But I do hope that Wallace will be the perfect gentleman ! :wah:

Hiya Carol ! I got your email, thanks - very good Mrs. Ere please don't let other threads put you off coming on FG, remember what we agreed ! Sod them, well certainly one of them !!! I really don't care if this is read by that person, they can

go and reproduce elsewhere !!!!

Hi Pam, you certainly know how to tease people, talking about cake - particularly our tame gannet Carol !!!

Hi Helen! You'll just have to try and meet up with our Joan next Tuesday ! Perhaps take your camera along as well ?

Joan this pic is a bit like Helen's Wallace ---------->

Hi Ducky - that poor little kiddy, no fault of his own either. I bet the mother is distraught - pity she has no imagination else the incident would never have happened in the first place !!!!

Hi Kaz !! I suppose we're lucky because our German Shepherd is only mildly interested in thunder and lightning - can you imagine a dog that size trying to hide under a settee ffs :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

HI Gill:D I agree, i now come on here to mainly come on this thread, and maybe one or two others, but usually just the more fluffier ones:wah: I have gotten to know some lovely people here and they make it worth my while to come here. I dont even really put up threads now but thats mainly cos im so boring they die after about 3 posts:wah: Anyway, its obvious now that there is no point in complaining/reporting/arguing etc. I say if people want to argue and be rude let them go argue with themselves, my time is more valuable;):D

Kaz I agree with you chuck, life is too short ! However, just sometimes, there may be something said on a thread which is too ************* to ignore ! BUT we must resist the temptation, cos we bloody know we will never be allowed to win, if winning is the correct word ! There are members whose sole aim is to have a verbal battle, regardless of what effect it may have on any guest readers. That seems to be how they get their 'buzz' in life - very very sad methinks, and very detrimental to this forum as a whole. They strive to be the Lecturer pontificating and 'talking down' to the plebs (the students), waving a very whippy verbal cane in order to keep everybody in line !!!!!

So glad to hear you've been signed off for two weeks Helen, now just take it easy and rest up properly Mrs. :-6

I'm afraid all caravan sites are upping their prices, and it doesn't help that fuel is constantly increasing, and everything else, because delivery charges will be increased because of the fuel etc. etc. et bloody cetera ! :-5

I have to put almost half of it in my other truck under lock & key:wah: It's hard to buy it in that size for the price. They usually charge $3.99 for it, but I got it for $1.99 each. Saving it for the beach.:wah:

Sounds about right over here. 1 week off for Christmas and the rest of the time they get a day off a month. 10 weeks off in the summer, take a week or so. What are training days?
