Yes it's a shame. One wonders why they went. Were they just bored, or did they move and find other 'hobbies', or did they get fed up with the various nasty posts that seem to be on the increase ? If the latter was the case, I hope they informed Tombstone of their reason for leaving.

A very acceptable wine we have discovered is Rourke's Drift but that is African.

Yunks ago my sister bought a case of Aussie white and I seem to remember it as Bin 57 or something, but it was delicious, but very expensive at that time. I haven't been able to find it since though. I tell you I could have drunk the stuff like I would drink 'pop' by the tumbler full :wah::wah:

HI all im back:D had a lovely time at the van and it was red hot yesterday! but we got some really ehavy rain about 9pm that put the signal out on tv!!! missed all of Gordon Ramseys F word,, but only about 10 mins of BB thank god:wah::wah:

thanks i did:D but i got stung by a bee,, it really hurt and my arm swelled up a lot! its still swollen now,, was stung just under my wrist,,, dunno why

bees dont usually bother you unless you bother them i have found,,,, i have been stung a few times by wasps and they dont hurt as much:rolleyes:

hello everyone,

just a quick one for now, been getting some paprwork sorted out and im off to the docs in a mo to get a sick note for work.

been watching the tennis and as its been rained off for a while, im hoping i can get out and back before andy murry plays.

spent a lot of yesterday sleeping then had a flip round the arcade for a while.

right gotta go, take care all :-4 xx

Hiya Helen, glad you're getting a sick note Mrs. and maybe a check why you are feeling wuzzy sometimes !

I expect you will need more sleep for quite a while. It's just the body saying 'Ere let me recover properly !'

I'm looking forward to the Nadal/Murray match, but Murray will have to play out of his skin to stand a chance of beating the Spaniard - cos that guy is on his 'A' game !!

I think that if anybody beats Nadal, then that person will win the championship !!!

That is unusual Kaz, cos bees loose half their body when they sting ! It is a last resort for the bee cos it kills them ! Wasps have straight stings, whereas bees have a barb, like a fishing hook so it rips off half their little body !

Did you put anything on the sting, and did you manage to get the sting out ?

My mum was badly allergic to wasp and bee stings - had to go to hospital once when she got stung on holiday, her arm came up like a football !!!

Well i was out walking the dog at the time so just squirted some water on it ,, but yes i got the sting out:D

I got stung on my toe and the swelling went right up to my knee. And the last time I got stung, my mom took me to the ER and they gave me a shot.

You're doctor can give you meds or an emergency kit to deal with bee stings. I have one. Haven't used it lately.

well i normally havent had any bother,,, juts stings for a while ,, and somehow i dont think our docs will give us emergency kits to deal with bee stings:wah::wah:

They do it here in the US. Bee kits they call them for emergencies. They come with little syringes and bandaids, etc. I could never give myself a needle.:wah:

Nope dont think they would give them out here,,

maybe they could be on sale somewhere but i cant remember seeing any, If i had a history of Anaphalactic shock (dunno if i spelt that right

) then they would probably supply me with medication to keep on me.
